Yesterday was a gorgeous foggy day in the mountains of Sierra Madre, the little town I'm happy to call my home. It was perfect weather for my faux leather jacket and over-sized scarf. Two items I was always itching to wear when I used to live in my home town of Miami....and admittedly sometimes did. But I'm sure I looked pretty ridiculous as well as also suffered from heat exhaustion. California is still a hit and miss when it comes to weather; it fools you when it's cold in the morning then gets hot in the afternoon, you just never know how to dress. I also sported my scruffy cowboy boots; I can never get enough of them, especially with tights and dresses.
My favorite detail about the jacket is the contrast stitching, it gives it character. The scarf has the prettiest Middle Eastern design in the best color combination. All around I felt very comfortable even with the minimal make up I had on. I felt pretty bold showing the photos because I thought twice about not taking pictures with barely no makeup on; but heck, we don't always need to look so perfect I get enough from the magazines!
